Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has made the announcement of starting “Uttarakhand Free Tablet Yojana” on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day celebration after the flag hoisting ceremony. Under this scheme, the government is going to distribute free tablets to the students who are eligible to get them. Many of the students are not able to buy tablets or mobile phones to pursue their studies due to financial crises. To support such students State Government of Uttarakhand decided to distribute free tablets. - Only those students who belongs to Uttarakhand state can apply
- Applicant should belong to a family who comes under BPL (Below Poverty Line) category
- He/She must be in 10th or 12th standard.
