Arogya Lakshmi Scheme Telangana 2023
The Telangana Government has created this prestigious scheme which will be helping the lactating women of the Telangana state to prevent malnutrition in newborn babies. The Government has created an Arogya Lakshmi Scheme Telangana that will be helping women to get a full meal at the Anganwadi centre so that they can fulfil their nutritional needs and eliminate anaemia among the women. The women will be provided free of cost full meals at the centre so that they can get the nutrition that will help the newborn baby and eliminate all of the chances of malnutrition.

Telangana Dalit Bandhu Scheme
Objective Of Arogya Lakshmi Scheme Telangana
The main objective behind the development of this prestigious scheme is to provide proper facilities to the lactating and conceiving mother through which the malnutrition statistics in the Telangana state can be eliminated and one full meal will be provided at the Anganwadi centre that will help the beneficiaries to overcome all of the deficiencies in their bodies. Arogya Lakshmi Scheme will be helping in developing healthy premises so that mothers can have proper nutrition and have a healthy child.
Benefits Of Arogya Lakshmi Scheme Telangana
The pregnant and lactating mother of the Telangana state will be provided one full meal at the Anganwadi centre which will have proper iron and folic acid tablets. The beneficiaries will be eligible to get 1 full meal consisting of rice, dal with leafy vegetable/sambar, and vegetables for a minimum of 25 days. Boiled eggs and 200 ml milk for 30 days in a month. This meal will meet 40% to 45% of the daily calorie and 40% to 45% of protein and calcium requirements for the day
For children between 7 months to 3 years 16 eggs per month will be provided and for children from 3 to 6 years, 30 eggs per month will be provided.

Members Of One Full Meal Committee
An Anganwadi level monitoring and support committee will be constituted who will implement the scheme. This committee will consist of 11 members. The members of this committee are as follows:-
- Sarpanch Or ward member preferably a woman
- Asha
- Mothers
- Community
- Parents of preschool children
- Sakhi under sabla program/adolescent girl
- 2 representatives from the village organisation
- Anganwadi workers
Responsibilities Of Full Meal Committee
Given below are the details of the responsibility of the committee under this scheme:-
- To meet once a month on the first nutrition Health day
- To create awareness regarding one full meal program
- Ensure demand and supply of food grains
- Identify milk vendors
- Mobilize All The Eligible beneficiaries to the Anganwadi centres
- To ensure that no beneficiary carries the male home or allows it to be consumed by any other family member
- Fix menu and timing of spot feeding
- Ensure attendance, quality, hygiene and other aspects of the program
- To certify attendance register of Anganwadi centres

- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
