Assam Orunodoi Scheme is the biggest direct benefit transfer scheme for which the state government is going to spend Rs 2400 crore annually. Assam Orunodoi Scheme 2023: Objective
Assam is a very small state. Many people of the state are dealing with financial crises. To improve the standard of living of the people of the state & to help the people in dealing with the crises the government has started the Orunodoi Scheme. The main objective of the Assam state government is to empower women who belong to poor families. In this scheme, the government will give financial assistance to the poor family’s women to fulfill their basic requirements.
Subsidy Amount
An amount of Rs. 830/- per month will be given out of which Rs 400 will be given to purchasing medicines, Rs 200 will be provided to buy 4 kilograms of pulses, Rs 80 to buy sugar, and Rs 150 to buy fruit origin.
