MahaDbt Scholarship 2023
The Government of Maharashtra has launched a new portal that will be helping the students to get the benefit of various scholarships through the direct benefit transfer method. The people who want to be a part of this prestigious scheme presented by the Maharashtra Government can enroll themselves through the official website and apply for the scholarships as per their eligibility criteria. There are a lot of different scholarship opportunities available on this official website for different categories of candidates. The parents/guardians’ annual income should be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lakh. The student should belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) or Nav Bouddha category. The student must be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should have passed SSC/equivalent matric. In the case of the student studying out of Maharashtra, the same rules are applicable. Only two professional courses are allowed.
Post Matric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee (Freeship)
The parents/guardians’ annual income should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh. The student’s category should be Scheduled Caste (SC) or Neo Buddhist. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra. The student should have passed SSC/equivalent matric. The student’s institute should be located in Maharashtra recognized by the Government. The students should be admitted through CAP round only for Professional Courses.
Maintenance Allowance for Students Studying in Professional Courses
The students should be admitted to professional courses. The students should be the scholarship holders of the Government of India. The family annual income should be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lakh. The students who are studying in the professional curriculum and residing in Hostel (Government or Institutes Hostel or outside).
The student should belong to the SC category. There is no income limit for the scholarship. Students must be studying in class 11th or 12th. Students should secure 75% and above in class 10th. The student should be a resident of Maharashtra.
Post-Matric Scholarship for Persons with Disability
The students who are disabled are eligible to apply. (40% or above)The students should be residents of Maharashtra. The students should be studying in a recognized university or institute. The scholarship will not be applicable if the candidate fails or quits the same course. The students studying in recognized institutes or colleges out of Maharashtra and belonging to the Maharashtra state are also eligible. The students pursuing post-graduation from the medical field but not allowed to practice out of the institute are also eligible. The candidates who are taking distance education from a recognized institution where non-refundable fees have to be paid by the student are eligible to apply. The candidate residing in college/institute or any other recognized hostel & if he/she pays hostel fees then the candidate’s maintenance allowance will be given at hosteller rates.

Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) Scholarships
The applicant should be a domicile of Maharashtra They should belong to Maharashtra State Border or Karnataka State Border to apply for the scholarship. The family’s annual income should not exceed INR 8 Lakh. The candidates belonging to the general category and who have taken admission are eligible to apply. The applicant should not avail of any other scholarship or stipend. The courses which students have enrolled in should be approved by the government or AICTE. The students should not have had a 2-year gap during their course. The students must have given all semester examinations.
Assistance to Meritorious Students Scholarship – Junior Level
The students from Class 11 & 12 are eligible to apply. The students should have a DHE sanctioned letter. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra can apply for this scheme.
Education Concession to the Children of Ex-Servicemen
The applicant’s son/daughter/wife/widow of ex-servicemen are eligible. The students should be enrolled in government-aided colleges only. The Maharashtrian Students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.
Eklavya Scholarship
The students must have graduated in degree courses of Law, Commerce & Arts with at least 60% marks and in Science with at least 70% marks. The annual income of the applicant’s parents should not exceed INR 75,000. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra state. The beneficiary should not do a part-time or full-time job. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.
State Government Open Merit Scholarship
The applicant must be a resident of the state of Maharashtra state. The applicant should have secured at least 60% marks in Class 12. This scholarship is for students who have enrolled in Arts, Commerce, Science, and Law courses. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.
Scholarship to Meritorious Students Possessing Mathematics/Physics
The students should secure at least 60% in the Science exam and more than 60% in Maths & Physics in Class 12. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State.
Government Vidyaniketan Scholarship
The student should secure 60% marks in the Class 10 examination. The student should have passed the Class 10 exam from the State Government Vidyanikethan only. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State.
State Government Dakshina Ahichatra Scholarship
The applicant must be a graduate student from non-agriculture University only. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State.
Government Research Adichatra
The applicant must be a postgraduate degree holder. The applicant must be a resident of Maharashtra State. The applicant should have secured 60% marks in post-graduation. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme.

The applicants who are son/daughter/wife/widow of freedom fighters are eligible. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra cannot apply for this scheme. The students should be domiciled in Maharashtra.
Jawaharlal Nehru University Scholarship
The Maharashtrian students who have studied in JNU.The UG and PG JNU students are eligible for the scheme. They should be domiciles of Maharashtra.

The students from Class 11 & 12 are eligible to apply. The Maharashtrian students studying out of Maharashtra can apply for this scheme.
Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (DHE)
The applicant should be a domicile of Maharashtra. For professional courses, the applicants who are children of registered labor or Alpabhudarak or both are eligible. The annual income of the family/ guardian should not exceed INR 8 Lakh. The applicants should not avail of any other Nirvah Bhatta benefits. The applicant should attempt every semester or annual exam.
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Scholarships
The applicant should be an Indian national. They should be domiciles of Maharashtra state. The applicant should be a “Bonafide Student of Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical courses. The applicants from the deemed university are not eligible. The candidates should be admitted through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The applicants cannot avail of any other scholarship while applying for this. For the current academic year, only 2 children from a family are allowed to avail benefits of the scheme. The total annual income of the family should not exceed INR 8 Lakh. A minimum of 50 % attendance in the previous semester is required. During the course duration, the candidate should not have had a gap of two or more years.
Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vastigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (DTE)
The applicant should be an Indian national. They should be a domicile of Maharashtra state. Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship for Students Studying in 11th & 12th Standard of VJNT & SBC Category
The applicants should belong to Vimukta Jatis, Nomadic Tribes, and Special Backward Classes.The applicant must be studying in class 11th and 12th in junior colleges.There is no family annual income limit.The students should not have a study gap to avail this scholarship.The applicants must be residents of Maharashtra.
Post Matric Scholarship to OBC Students
The applicant should belong to the OBC category.The applicants must be pursuing education courses approved by the government.The application should come via CAP round for professional courses.The applicants need 75% attendance for the current year.
