Fame India Scheme 2024 Phase II
The Fame India Scheme was created in response to the pollution that was occurring as a result of automobiles that ran on diesel and gasoline. The initiative is a key component of the government’s National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP). The plan’s goal was to help sell 6-7 million electric and hybrid automobiles by 2020. The Indian government’s responsible officials have already completed the first phase of the plan. Phase two of the project has now begun, under which the Indian government will distribute 670 electric buses in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Chandigarh, as well as 241 charging stations on the streets of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Port Blair. This will aid in the development of places where electric vehicles are used. All vehicles are covered by the FAME program, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, and buses.
