Bihar Kushal Yuva Program Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria before applying for this scheme:-
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar State.
- An applicant must be above the age of 15 years and below the age of 28 years.
- The applicant must have passed class 10th.
- It is mandatory for all the youth who are between 20 to 25 years of age and are provided with Self Help Allowance, to complete this training.
KYP Course List

- KYP Course 1: English and Hindi Communication Skills (80 hrs)
- Course KYP 2: IT Literacy Skills (120 hrs, Hindi and English Medium)

KYP Application Fees
The applicant will be liable to pay the following amount of fields in order to get the various benefits available under this scheme:-
Course Fee
- Rs.1000 (One Thousand Rupees only) Refundable security deposit from SHA, KYP & Technical Institute learners.
- The refundable security deposit will be returned in to the candidate’s Bank account who successfully complete the KYP training i.e. are certified (passed) for the training undertaken, within one month from the date of passing.
- The amount shall be forfeited for those who drop out or fail to pass even after 3 attempts at the final examination.
बिहार कुशल युवा प्रोग्राम Registration Fee
- At the time of filing the initial application, the AO has to pay a centre registration fee of INR 3000 per centre, INR 1000 as course affiliation fee of KYP and a non-refundable processing fee of INR 500 only.
- The centre registration will be renewed every year (first renewal due on 1st April 2019) by paying INR 1500 per centre only.
- BSDM shall not be liable to refund the processing fee, annual centre registration fee and course affiliation fee even if the application for registration gets rejected or the applicant withdraws the application, at any stage after payment.
