Under this scheme, eligible students will get interest-free credit for further studies who desire to take study loans. Bihar Student Credit Card Yojana 2023-24
Many students drop their studies due to financial crises. To help the students the state government has decided to launch Bihar Student Credit Card Yojana. बिहार स्टूडेंट क्रेडिट कार्ड योजना 2023 has been launched by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for students. Under this scheme students who meet the eligibility conditions of the scheme will get loans for higher studies. Students need not pay any interest on loans. This year the government will provide benefits to 100000 students.

Objective of Bihar Student Credit Card Yojana
State government of Bihar has launched Bihar Student Credit Card yojana with the aim to help the students financially for their higher education. By starting this scheme the government desire to encourage the students to continue their studies and not to drop due to financial issues.

Selection Process
- First applicant need to submit the application via official portal
- Submitted application copy is made available to Multi Purpose Assistant (MPA) at the District Registration and Counseling Center.
- Now application is verified by MPA and made it available to the Assistant Manager.
- Assistant Manager will ensure the eligibility and documents of the applicant
- Then application is approved by the Nodal Officer nominated by the Education Department
- Now application will be transferred online to the Third Party Verification Agency (TPVA) for verification
- Then nodal officer will send online to Bihar State Education Finance Corporation recommending the approval of the loan in two days on the basis of TPVA report.
- After that the hard copy of the application will be transferred to the district level cell of the corporation.
- The District Registration and Counseling Center will start sending applications to the Corporation
- Corporation will approve or reject the application within the time limit of 15 working days.
- If application is rejected it will send back to the Nodal Officer with listed objections
- If the application is approved, the applicant will be informed by SMS and e-mail to appear at the District Registration and Counseling Center for documentation process

- Applicant must be 12th standard passed
- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar
- Age of the applicant should not more than 25 years
- Applicants who have completed bachelor degree should not more than 30 years of age.
