The Telangana government has started the Rythu Vedika project to solve the difficulties that farmers confront. The state has budgeted Rs Rs 572.22 crore for the project. The inaugural Rythu Vedika will be inaugurated by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the Kodakandla Mandal headquarters in the Jangaon district. This program will bring farmers together on a single platform to assist them in achieving high returns. A large number of Rythu Vedikas will be built in the state to aid farmers. Farmers in Telangana will be extremely grateful for this initiative. 1,951 of the 2,601 Rythu Vedikas that were planned have been finished, with another 650 under construction. Each Vedika will cost Rs 22 lakh to construct, with the Agriculture Department contributing Rs 12 lakh. The remaining funds will come from the MNREGS.

- Rythu Vedikas will have access to tap water due to Mission Bhagiratha.
- The farmers’ center costs Rs. 22 lakhs to construct.
- With a plinth area of 2,046 square feet, each Rythu Vedika will contain two rooms and two toilets.
- Each cluster would be led by an agriculture extension officer, and the centers would be outfitted with an audio-visual system and staffed with the necessary personnel shortly.

The following procedures will be used to implement the program to the beneficiaries: –
- Telangana’s state government intends to build 2,601 Rythu Vedikas across the state.
- Around 1,580 Rythu Vedika projects have been completed.
- The agriculture department would cover about Rs. 12 lakhs of the overall expenditure.
- The Telangana government has set aside Rs. 572.22 crores, or Rs. 22 lakhs per Rythu Vedika, for the overall building cost.
- MNREGS money will cover the remaining Rs. 10 lakhs.
