YSR Bheema Scheme 2023
YSR Bheema Scheme has been launched by the Andhra Pradesh government for the unrecognized workers’ families. Under the scheme, insurance will be given to the unrecognized workers which provide security to the family against accidents. In case the worker dies or suffers from permanent disability due to an accident that happened during work, the beneficiaries’ family will get insurance amount. Objective of YSR Bima Scheme
Objective of the Government of Andhra Pradesh behind launching this scheme is to provide financial security to the poor workers’ families. With the successful implementation of this scheme, workers’ families will get financial support in case any misshaping with the worker happened.

Benefits/ Features of the scheme
- This scheme has been started to provide financial security to the poor workers family.
- Under this scheme beneficiaries will get accidental insurance cover of Rs. 1.5 lakh to 5 lakhs.
- This scheme is beneficial for about 1.14 crore citizens of the state.
- State government has sanctioned a budget of Rs. 510 crores for this scheme.
- The insurance claim amount will be given within 15 days to the bank account of the nominee though DBT method.
- Rs. 10000 will be given as immediate financial relief to the family members of the beneficiary
- Beneficiaries have to deposit only Rs. 15 per annum for this insurance cover
Insurance cover under YSR Bheema Scheme

Eligibility Criteria
- Only natives of the Andhra Pradesh state can grab the benefits of the scheme.
- Applicant must hold white ration card to get the benefits.
- Applicant should be here worker by profession.

Procedure to Apply for YSR Bheema Scheme 2023
To grab the benefits of the scheme you need not do any kind of registration. Beneficiaries’ selection will be made by the authorities on the basis of the survey conducted by the volunteers via door-to-door campaign and check of white ration cardholders. The Secretary of welfare is going to verify the collected information thereafter selection of the beneficiaries will be made. Thereafter beneficiaries have to open a bank account including the nominee and need to pay Rs. 15 per annum.
