YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme 2023
This scheme will provide a free credit loan to all self-help groups in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Scheme’s major goal is to empower the state’s old ladies and provide them with financial independence so that they can engage in another useful activity for socioeconomic development. Women candidates in Andhra Pradesh would benefit from the Zero Interest Loan Scheme, which will provide them with an interest-free credit loan. YSR Zero Interest Loan scheme, which has credited Rs 1,400 crore to the bank accounts of 8.78 lakh Self Help Groups. Women SHG members can take out loans ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 per year under the plan. Over 91 lakh women’s SHG members will benefit from it across the state. 6.95 lakh SHGs are located in rural areas, out of a total of 8.78 lakh.

The Zero Interest Loan will be granted to women as part of this scheme to enable self-help organizations to expand. - YSR Zero Interest Loan is another name for the AP Jagananna Sunna Vaddi Scheme.
- The scheme is exclusively available to women who are living below the poverty line (BPL).
- Women in the Self-Help Group category will be able to borrow up to Rs. 1 lakh from a bank without paying interest.
- A loan that is classified as a non-performing asset (NPA) is not eligible for the YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme in Andhra Pradesh.
- The application process for the YSR Sunna Vaddi Scheme of the Government of Andhra Pradesh will be determined by a door-to-door survey that will be undertaken to identify the beneficiaries of various schemes.
- The recipients will be chosen by all concerned officers based on the results of the door-to-door survey.

- Chief Minister, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the government of Andhra Pradesh has released a budget of Rs. 1400 crore, which will be credited to all 8.78 lakh self-help group bank accounts.
- The money was credited to the accounts of 14.5 lakh farmers who took out loans and paid them back during Kharif 2019.
- In addition, a Rs 132 crore input subsidy for crop losses in October was credited to the accounts of the farmers who experienced losses.
- The responsibility of giving credit to the bank on their loans will be lifted from the shoulders of women.
