Tripura CM Manik Saha on Monday announced the launch of CM-SATH Scheme to help meritorious students in their Higher Education. The Purpose of launching this Scheme is to provide Financial Assistance to Talented students, so that they do not have to give up their dreams due to financial problems.
CM-SATH Scheme aims to provide Financial Assistance of Rs. 60,000 (Rs. 5,000 Monthly) to 200 students, including 100 students at Madhyamik Level for two years and 100 students at Higher Secondary Level for three years. Out of 200 students, 152 students will be selected at the block level, 12 students at the Nagar Panchayat level, 26 students at the Nagar Parishad level and 10 students at the Agartala Municipal Corporation level. Objective of Tripura CM-SATH Scheme 2025
The main objective of the Tripura CM-SATH scheme is to provide Financial Assistance to students who want to pursue Higher Education but are unable to do so due to financial problems. This Scheme has been launched to provide Assistance to Talented Students. The government has allocated a budget of Rs. 1.20 crore for the first year, Rs. 2.40 crore for the second year and Rs. 3 crore for the third year for this Scheme.
Key Features of the CM-SATH Scheme 2025
- 100 students will be Selected from Madhyamik Level and 100 students from Higher Secondary Level.
- Students Pursuing Education at Madhyamik level or Higher Secondary Level will be able to avail the benefits of the scheme.
- 200 students will be selected from different areas of Tripura, including 152 students from block level, 12 students from Nagar Panchayat level, 26 students from Nagar Parishad level and 10 students from Agartala Municipal Corporation level.

Eligibility Criteria
The Students Applying for the scheme must fulfil the following Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Tripura.
- Meritorious students will be Selected on the basis of Academic Performance under the Scheme.
- Students must be Pursuing Education at the Secondary level or Higher Secondary level.
- The final selection of beneficiaries will be done by the District Education Officer of each district.
