A total of 3.28 lakh male students of Tamil Nadu state will be selected under this scheme. Tamil Nadu State authorities have set a total budget of Rs 360 crore to implement this scheme. - To be selected under this Scheme, the student must be a male student.
- Students must submit the application form before the last date to confirm their selection under the Scheme.
- Students studying in any government school in the state of Tamil Nadu will be selected.
Application Process For Tamil Nadu 1000 rs Scheme 2025
- First you will have to visit the official UMIS website to Apply for the Tamil Nadu 1000 rs Scheme online.
- Now enter their username and password on the homepage.
- The user name is the EMIS/UMIS Number (you may get it from your respective institute nodal officer). For example, 9*******12. The default password is an 8-digit combination of the last 4 digits of their mobile number registered in UMIS and their year of birth. For example, if your Mobile Number is 9876-05-4587 and your Date Of Birth is 12/09/2009, then the Password is ‘45872009’.
- After getting the username you can set up their Password, enter the Captcha Code, and click on the option Login.
- A new page will appear on your desktop screen, enter their Aadhar Card Number and click on the option Send OTP.
- Then enter the OTP that they have received on the Registered Mobile Number and click on the option verify.
- The Application Form will open on your desktop screen, enter all the required details.
- After entering all the details click on the option Submit to complete their Application Process.

- The applicants can get their UMIS ID or Number Online from their respective institute in Nodal Officer.
