What is PDO and Who can Become PDO?
Will install, maintain and operate WANI-compliant Wi-Fi access points through Public Data Offices (PDO) and provide broadband services to customers. Any Indian individual can become a PDO by setting up internet facilities. You don’t have to go through any registration process to become a PDO. Any village-level entrepreneur (VLE), grocery shop owner, tea shop, grocery shop, vegetable shop, restaurant owner etc. across India can become a PDO and start selling internet broadband over Wi-Fi.
Who is PDOA?
The Public Data Office Aggregator will provide aggregation services such as authorization and accounting to the PDOs, through which the PDOs can provide services to the consumers.If you have a company registered under the Companies Act 2013, you can register for PDOA through the official website of Department of Telecommunications.
How much Benefits will PDO Get?
The PDO will get 80% of the total recharge of the day. For example, if the PDO sells internet worth Rs 500 then he will get a profit of 80% of Rs 500 i.e. Rs 400.

- To communicate with the PDOA you have to visit the official website of the PM Wani Scheme.
- Now click on the PDO Portal option on the homepage.
- A new page will appear on your desktop screen, all the details have to be entered in the form.
- After entering all the details click on the Register option. After this the form will be sent to the Central Registry Office.
