- The people who run roadside shops will be able to take the benefit of this scheme and around 50 lakh people will be able to take the loans from this scheme.
- The people can take a loan of up to Rupees 10000 which can be returned in the period of one year.
- There are no extreme conditions that need to be fulfilled to get this loan of Rupees 10000 from the Prime Minister directly.
- The installment period is very long so there is no burden to return the loan.
- This is an unsecured loan and that’s why no guarantee will be required to get this loan from the authorities.
- If the street vendors repay the loan on time then 7% of the annual interest subsidy will be transferred by the government to their bank account directly.
- There is no penalty to repayment of the loan in this scheme.

- The people will be able to apply for this scheme using the mobile application or the web portal-based application.
- Beneficiaries do not have to go anywhere physically to apply for this prestigious scheme.
- No guarantee is required to get the loan under this scheme and it is a very easy procedure to get a loan.
- A rupees 1000 loan will be provided initially for one year and an interest subsidy of 7 percent on a half-yearly basis.
- The subsidy will only be paid to the beneficiaries who will be able to repay the loan in perfect timing.
- The amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the scheme you will have to follow the following eligibility criteria:-
- The street vendors must have a certificate of vending for carrying identification proof issued by the urban local body.
- Those vendors who are identified under the survey but not issued any identity card. A certificate of provisional vending would be generated through the IT platform
- Vendors of surrounding development should have geographical limits
- Certificate from urban local bodies a letter of recommendation should be initiated from the town vending committee.
- The Aadhar card of the beneficiaries must be linked with the mobile number.

- Now, you have to click on the option called Apply Loan 10k
- A new page will be displayed on your screen where you will have to validate your mobile number.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Enter the OTP sent on your mobile number and validate your mobile number successfully.
- Enter the information regarding your Aadhar card and finally, the application form will be displayed on your screen.
- You have to fill up the application form with your important details and upload the documents.
- You have to now submit this application and initiate the loan.
- Take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
- You can similarly apply for a loan of 20000 by clicking on the option displayed on the screen.
