Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme 2024 is an initiative launched by the Assam state government to promote self-reliance and economic development in the state. The scheme aims to empower local businesses, promote skill development and support entrepreneurship in Assam especially in rural and deprived areas.
All the permanent residents of the state of Assam whose age is between 28 to 40 years are eligible to avail the benefits of Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme 2024. According to the Assam State Government, a total 2 Lakh beneficiaries across Assam State will get benefits under this scheme.

Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 (CMAAA) Launched
The second phase of Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Abhiyan 2.0 (CMAAA) is a government initiative launched by the Assam government to promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the youth of the state.
According to the information released by the Assam State Government, a total of 75000 beneficiaries will be selected under the second phase of the scheme. Under CMAAA 2.0, selected beneficiaries will receive financial assistance of ₹5 lakh for professional categories and ₹2 lakh for other categories to support their ventures.
The objective of Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme
The main objective of this scheme is to empower local businesses, promote skill development and support entrepreneurship especially in rural and deprived areas. This scheme will provide entrepreneurship training, which will help individuals to start and manage their own business.
Under the Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme, financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh will be given to the selected applicants in 2 instalments. The financial assistance will be transferred directly to the bank account of the selected applicant.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The applicant should possess the following educational qualifications as – Minimum qualification Class X Pass for general category (For candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC: up to class X)ITI, Polytechnic, Diploma in other Technical Courses, Post GraduatesDegree Holders in Professional courses like Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Veterinary, Fisheries, Agriculture, etc.
- Applicants must have a Scheduled Commercial Bank account opened before April 1, 2024.
- The applicant should possess skills, experiences, knowledge, etc., to undertake income-generating activities.
- The applicant must have valid registration in the Employment Exchange.
- No more than one family member shall be eligible for availing benefits under this scheme.

Selection Process
- The applicants will be selected based on their clearance of eligibility criteria.
- Only permanent residents of Assam state will be selected for Chief Minister Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme 2024.
- The applicant must be between the age group of 28 to 40 years to be selected for the scheme.
- To be selected for the scheme the applicant must be an unemployed citizen.
- The applicants must fill out the application form before the last date to be selected for the scheme.

- STEP 1: All the applicants who want to apply for the Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme can now go to the Official Website and fill out the application form online.
- STEP 2: When the applicant reaches the home page of the official website he/she needs to click on the Sign Up option.
- STEP 3: After Successfully registration the applicant has to click on the login option available on the home page of the official website.
- STEP 4: The applicant must now log in using their registered mobile number and OTP.
- STEP 5: A new page will appear on your desktop screen, applicants have to enter all the details and click on the submit option.
