The applicant will be selected based on the following selection procedure given below:-
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks that they have got in classes 10th and 12th.
- At the time of selection, efforts will be made that at least 50 percent of the beneficiaries should be girls.
- The departments will make arrangements for coaching through selected institutes according to the merit of the students by setting district-wise targets.

- The annual family income of the candidate must be less than Rupees 8 lakh per annum.
- Such students whose parents are drawing salary up to Pay Matrix Level-11 as State Government Personnel will also be eligible for the scheme.
- Under this scheme, only the children of the state studying in school and college will be given the benefit of the Mukhyamantri Anupriti Coaching Scheme 2022.
- In this scheme, people belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Minorities and Economically Weaker Sections will be benefited.
