The Ladli Behna Yojana has been launched by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr Eknath Shinde to provide financial assistance to women of economically weaker sections of Maharashtra. Under this Scheme, financial assistance of up to Rs 1500 per month will be provided to women between the age of 21 to 60 years belonging to the economically weaker sections. The Maharashtra State Government has allocated a budget of Rs 46,000 crore for the Ladli Behna Yojana. Through this Scheme, financial benefits will be provided to the poor women of the State. So that by getting this amount, women can meet their daily expenses.
