Objectives Of Jagananna Thodu Scheme
The Jagananna Thodu Scheme is presented by the State Government to help the street vendors who are severely affected by the coronavirus pandemic and have ended up losing all of their livelihood due to lockdown. The street vendors and other small traders are facing a tough time due to the lockdown that was imposed in the state and all of the beneficiaries will be able to make loans to the development of this scheme. The beneficiaries will be provided with the working capital of 10000 Rupees and they will not have to pay any interest to the bank and the interest amount will be paid by the State Government directly to the bank.

Additions To Jagananna Thodu Scheme
The second phase under the scheme will be launched pretty soon for all of the beneficiaries and the beneficiaries will be provided interest-free loans of up to Rupees 10000. The chief minister has sanctioned 370 crores to develop the second phase of the scheme from the camp office. Around 3.7 lakh beneficiaries will be benefited through the development of the second phase of this scheme. Under the first phase Rupees, 535 crores were sanctioned to the bank accounts of 5.35 lakh beneficiaries. A total of 905 crores have been sanctioned to develop both of the phases under this scheme and to provide loans to the beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for this prestigious scheme:-
- The applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of the Andhra Pradesh state.
- Applicants must have completed 18 years of age.
- Applicants must have an active bank account running under his/her name.
- Family income of the beneficiary should not be more than Rs.10000/- in rural areas (village) and 12000/- in towns.
- All the street vendors selling fruits, vegetables, ready-to-eat street food, fast food, tea, pakodas, other foodstuffs, books/ stationery items, on roadside, payments, footpaths etc. are eligible for this scheme.
- All the artisans engaged in small businesses of traditional handicrafts and selling it on streets are also eligible.
- People running their business in a temporary or permanent space of 5×5 ft. or less can avail benefit of this scheme.
- All the street vendors running tiffin services are also eligible.
- All the street vendors/ hawkers selling various items on carts, bicycles, stalls, motor vehicles, baskets come under the purview of this scheme.

Documents Required
The following documents must be submitted by the beneficiaries to apply for this scheme:-
- Aadhar Card of the beneficiary
- Voter Id proof
- A valid mobile number
- Bank Account details
- Documents issued by government
- Business location details (fixed or wandering)
- Land ownership papers (if any)
- Family income details
- Other documents as asked by the concerned person
Jagananna Thodu Scheme Selection Process
The beneficiaries will be identified by the authorities based upon the following selection procedure:-
- The eligible beneficiaries will be identified by the authorities through door to door service which will be conducted by the officers in charged
- The officer in charge will then scrutinize the application forms and validate the beneficiary data.
- The beneficiary list will be available at ward secretariat for social audit.
- Re verification and finalisation of the beneficiary list will be done by the concerned officials and then the list will be approved by the district collector.
- Approved list of beneficiaries will be sent to the bank for the sanctioning of the loan.
- After the approved loan is sanctioned and transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, identity cards will be issued to the beneficiaries by the ward volunteers.

To apply for the scheme you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

- Now, you have to click on the option called Apply Loan
- A new page will open on your screen where you will have to validate your mobile number.
- Tick mark the declaration.
- Enter the OTP sent on your mobile number and validate your mobile number successfully.
- Enter the information regarding your Aadhar card and finally the application form will open on your screen.
- You have to fill up the application form with your important details and upload the documents.
- You have to now submit this application and initiate the loan.
- Take a printout of the submitted application form for future references.

- Enter your vendor ID card number and certificate of vending number.
- Enter the name of the vendor and mobile number.
- Click on search and the list will open on your screen.
Application For LOR
If you want to download the letter of recommendation then you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-

- Now, you have to click on the option called Apply For LOR
- A new page will open on your screen.
- Now you have to validate your mobile number and enter the captcha code.
