- On the home page of the website, click on the ‘Marriage Certificate and Registration’ under the ‘Home and Community section.
- A new page will open on the screen, click on the “Application Form” or the link for registration of marriage under the Hindu Marriage Act.
- The application form will open on the screen, save and download the application form.
- Now fill in the form with all the required details.
- Now submit the filled form along with all the required documents at the Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office.
- Then, your documents will be verified.
- After that, If the Hindu Marriage Act or the Special Marriage Act applies, a date is set and announced to the parties for registration. Both parties must be available after the documents are submitted for the issuance of a public notice inviting objections or complaints. If there are no objections or protests, the registration will be completed within 30 days.
