BH Series Vehicle Registration Benefits
There are many benefits that will be provided to the beneficiaries if they register themselves for the Bharat BH series vehicle number and first of all they will be able to take their vehicle from one state to another without any problem of changing the vehicle number according to the format of that specific state. Central Government employees and defence personnel will be able to get the benefit of this scheme. The benefit of the scheme is also available for the army personnel and other private companies employees who are always getting transferred from their company. You can easily move your vehicle from one state to another without changing the vehicle number through these Bharat BH series.
Format Of The Number
The format of the Bharat BH series number will be according to the following pointers:-
- YY BH #### XX
- YY- First Registration Year in YY format ( if 2021 then 21)
- BH- Code for Bharat Series
- ####- 0000 to 9999 (Random Number)
- XX – two Alphabets (AA to ZZ)
Motor Vehicle Tax
The motor vehicle tax levied by the states or union territories at the time of registration in respect to BH – Series non-transport vehicles are as follows –
- Cars below Rs 10 lakh (invoice price) – eight percent of road tax
- Cars costing between Rs 10 – 20 lakh (invoice price) – 10 percent of road tax
- Cars costing over Rs 20 lakh (invoice price) – 12 percent of road tax
Eligibility Criteria for BH Series Number Plate
The following people can register themselves for the Bharat DH series:-
- Defence personnel,
- Motor vehicle owners who are State/ Central Government employees,
- PSU employees, or
- Employees working in a private sector company that has offices in four or more states and UTs.
Application Fees
You will have to submit the vehicle registration fees according to the type of vehicle and the cost of the vehicle that you own.
Application Procedure BH Series Vehicle Registration 2023
To register yourself for the Bharat DH series you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- You will first have to visit the official RTO website of your respective state.
- The homepage of the RTO website will be displayed on your screen and you have to look for the link called BH Series Vehicle Registration for Old/New Vehicles
- A new page will be displayed on your screen.
- You have to register your vehicle by entering important information regarding your vehicle and yourself.
- Vehicles having the new BH series number plate/ registration mark on their vehicles will not be required to undergo the old complicated re-registration process in the new state.
- The number plates will be assigned randomly to the applicants.
