TNEA Random Number Released 2024
Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education has released the TNEA Random Number for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. Candidates can visit the official website of the TNEA i.e. tneaonline.org to check the Random numbers. Students have to enter their registered email id and number to log in to the official website and check their numbers. An SMS has also be sent to the registered email id and mobile number of the students by the concerned authorities. To check the TNEA 2024 Random Number, the applicant has to log in with the details on the official website. Please note that the Certificate Verification has started on 13 June 2024 and the Rank List will be updated on 10 July 2024.
TNEA Random Number 2024
It is a 10-digit number issued by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu to the students who applied for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions. This 10-number unique ID is used by the authorities for tie-breaking. While preparing the Rank List if the Directorate of Technical Education found Tie between two or more candidates, then tie braking policy applied over there. This is the fifth tie braking policy to give rank to the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
The selection of the candidates is depending on their academic record. Higher the marks will get higher the TNEA Rank. To prepare the TNEA rank list following strategy will follow:-
- Scores secured in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the qualifying examination
- Physics + Chemistry =100
- Mathematics =100
- Date of Birth
- Category of the candidate
In case two or more students will get equal marks in the qualifying examination then a tie-breaking policy will follow to rank the student.
TNEA Rank List 2024
Not only TNEA Random Number the officials of TNEA has released the TNEA Rank List 2024, this rank list is obtained on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the TNEA Exam 2023 in the subjects like Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, to a base marks of 200. Chemistry + Mathematics. Candidates can visit the official website of TNEA to get this List and can check this list also by logging in.
TNEA Random Number Tie Breaking Policy
In case of Tie between the two students Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu is going to follow the following policies to give the rank to the candidates:
- Tie-Breaker policy 1 is that those candidates who score more in Mathematics will get the preference and higher rank will be given to him
- In case the candidates have same number in mathematics then Tie-Breaker policy 2 is applicable according to which High marks in Physics will consider and higher rank will be given to him
- If the candidates have same number in mathematics & physics as well then Tie-Breaker policy 2 is applicable according to which optional subject marks will consider and higher rank will be given to him
- In case the candidates have same marks then Tie-Breaker policy 4 will consider according to which the age will consider and those candidates who have older age will get higher ranking
- At last, if age is similar too then Tie-Breaker policy 5 will consider those who have higher number will get higher rank.
