The Odisha Government recently started Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana. Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched this Yojana. Under this Scheme, Financial Assistance of Rs. 5,000 will be provided to students of Scheduled Tribe (ST) admission in class 9th and class 11th. Families whose annual income does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000 can avail the benefits of this Scheme. Under this Scheme, students of Scheduled Tribes who pass class 8th and take admission in class 9th and students taking admission in class 11th from class 10th will be given Financial Assistance of Rs. 5,000.

Objective of Shahid Madho Singh Haath Kharcha Yojana
The Main Objective of Haath Kharcha Yojana is to provide Financial Assistance to the Tribal Students of Odisha who aren’t able to afford quality Education. Under this scheme, the government will give Rs 5,000 annually to eligible students. This amount will be Deposited directly into the bank accounts of the Beneficiaries. With the Financial help they can continue their Education without worrying about Financial Problems. Students can fulfill their aspirations and develop their Businesses through education with the support of this program.

Eligibility Criteria
- For the Haath Kharcha Yojana, only students who are tribal and local to Odisha would be eligible.
- Candidates whose family income does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000 per annum are also eligible for this scheme.
- Those who are admitted to the ninth and eleventh grades after having already completed the class 8th and class 10th are eligible.
- Boys and girls can both participate.
- Whether kids from private and Government-aided Schools are eligible or simply those from government schools is not made clear by the State Government.

Selection Process
- Students will be Selected based on their Income and Eligibility Criteria.

- Step 3: Enter all the details like your Name, Phone Number, Bank Account in the Application Form.
- Step 4: After entering all the details, Upload the Required Documents.
