The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has introduced a service for the senior citizens of the state. He shared the initiative through his social media Twitter account. The announcement of the service was on Twitter on Raksha Bandhan Day. Under this service, only women aged above 60 will benefit as this is free for them to move anywhere within the state boundaries.
On August 10, 2022, the Chief Minister made this promise while speaking at a ceremony to officially welcome 150 diesel buses from UPSRTC.

The person must reside in Uttar Pradesh on a long-term basis and only ladies who are at least 60 years old may apply for this initiative.

As of now the government has not provided the proper channel in which the beneficiaries can take the benefits of service.
