Under this initiative, the Indian Government will provide financial aid and other Benefits to citizens so that they can build toilets in their homes. All those who do not have toilets in their homes are eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Free Toilet Scheme.
About Swachh Bharat Mission
Swachh Bharat Mission was launched by the Government of India Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2014. The main goal of this scheme is to make every village, city and street Open Defecation Free (ODF) and spread awareness among people about cleanliness. In 2019, the Government of India achieved the target of building 100 million individual household toilets across India. The Government of India is providing financial assistance to all those citizens who want to build toilets in their house.

- First you will have to visit the official website and fill out the Application Form online.
- Now click on the option Application Form IHHL under the heading Citizens Corner on the homepage.
- A New page will appear on your desktop screen, enter their Mobile Number and click on the option get OTP.
- After this enter the OTP that they have received and the captcha code and click on the option sign-in to complete their process.
