The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released another detailed notification for the announcement of the 9144 vacancies of Technicians in the Indian Railways. The candidates can use the method of online filling to fill and submit their registration forms for the RRB Technician Recruitment.
The online application submission started on 09 March 2024 and applicants can use the Railway Technician Recruitment portal till 08 April 2024 to submit and complete online application forms. Aspirants are advised to read the vacancies notification released by the recruitment authority.

Education Qualifications
- For Technician Grade 1 Signal: Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute or a three-year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant fields.
- For Technician Grade 3: Applicants must have completed Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in specified trades or Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the related trades.
Age Limits
- Technician Grade 1 Signal: 18 to 36 years
- Technician Grade 3: 18 to 33 years
Selection Process
The selection process for RRB Technician Vacancies would be done in three stages:
- Medical Examination: Post document verification, candidates will undergo a medical examination to ensure they are medically fit for the position.
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify for the CBT will be called for document verification.
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): The first stage of the selection process, where candidates are tested on relevant subjects based on the post they have applied for
Application Fee
- For SC/ST/ESM/PWDs/Female/Transgender/Minorities/EBC – ₹250/- (This fee shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in CBT.)
- For Other Categories – ₹500/- (Out of this fee, ₹400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in CBT.)
