Eligibility Criteria for RPSC Assistant professor Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.
- Candidates must have passed the NET/SLET/SET examination.
- Ph.D holders are exempted from NET/SLET in certain circumstances.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years as on 1st July 2025.
- Maximum Age: 40 years (Relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories).

Application Process for RPSC Assistant professor Recruitment 2024
- Step 1: Candidates should visit the official website rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Step 2: Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSO portal.
- Step 3: Login and navigate to “Recruitment Portal”.
- Step 4: Fill all the details asked in the application form.
- Step 5: After entering all the details upload the required documents including photo and signature as per the instructions.
- Step 6: Pay the application fee online by uploading the required documents.
- Step 7: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
Selection Process
- Written Examination: The exam consists of two papers Paper I General Knowledge (Culture, History, Geography of Rajasthan) and Paper II In-depth knowledge of the concerned subject Each paper is for 75 marks with 3 hours time duration.
- Interview: Candidates who qualify the written examination are called for an interview which is for 24 marks.
- Final Merit List: Based on the combined scores of the written exam and interview.
- Document Verification: The required documents are checked for final selection.
