What is the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme?
The Assam Government has launched the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme to help women entrepreneurs in the state to start their own Business. Under this Scheme, all the women associated with self-help groups (SHGs) will get Financial Assistance of Rs 35000 from the State authorities. Assam Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma has decided to launch the Lakhpati Baideo Scheme to provide Financial Assistance and other Benefits to around 40 lakh women entrepreneurs in the State. The main objective of launching this Scheme is to provide employment to the women of the State.
