Objective of Kerala Free Laptop Scheme
As digitization begins across the country, the government is started using computers for working. To survive in this digital world, it is necessary to have knowledge about using computers. Many students who belong to the economically weaker section of society are not able to learn using a computer because they can’t afford it. Considering all this in mind the government of Kerala has started this scheme. The main purpose of the government behind launching this Kerala Free Laptop Scheme is to appreciate the students who secured well in the 12th standard board examinations, to encourage the students to learn in the field of computer and technology, and help the financially weak students to meet the requirements of getting knowledge about using computer/ laptop.
