Telangana State Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy launched the scheme to provide climbing equipment to toddy tappers of the state. With the help of high-quality climbing equipment, the Telangana State Government will prevent the risk of accidents while climbing trees.
In a meeting, Telangana CM addressed that toddy tappers are prone to injuries, and the scheme will aim to launch this kit for their safety. If we talk about the manufacturing of the kits, then these kits have been manufactured by IIT Hyderabad and they are being distributed through BC Corporation.
