Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka Village Accountant Recruitment 2024
The state government has set some eligibility criteria for the post of Village Accountant. All the applicants applying for the post must fulfill the criteria:
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board. After that, they have to pass their education from any stream, which means candidates must pass a graduation degree from a recognized university or college.
Age Limit
- Candidate age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years.

Karnataka Village Accountant Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern
KEA will conduct the Karnataka VAO exam in a traditional pen-and-paper format. This exam is divided into two papers. The first paper will be General Knowledge which will have topics like Current Affairs, Constitution of India, History and Geography of Karnataka, State and Regional Administration, Issues Related to Economic Development of Karnataka, Environmental Issues. The second paper will be Language and Computer Knowledge which will have topics like General Kannada, General English, Computer Knowledge. Each will have a variety of questions in multiple choice format. For each question, participants will get one mark. However, they must be careful, as the wrong answer will result in a penalty of 0.25 marks. Participants will be given 2 hours to complete each paper.
