Implementation Procedure
The Government Insurance Department Policy Number will be interacting with the HRMS database of the Department Of Personnel And Administrative Reforms to identify the beneficiaries under the scheme. The Suvarna Arogya Suraksha trust will be accessing the database of the Government employees and their dependents to check the details regarding the beneficiaries and the defendants will include the wife or husband of the employee, father or mother of the employee, stepchildren, and adopted children of the employee. Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of Karnataka state.
- He/She must be a permanent and serving State Government employee.
- The employees who have already taken retirement are not eligible for this scheme.
- Those persons who are working in aided an autonomous institution without a KGID number linked to the HRMS database are not eligible to apply under this scheme
- The police department also cannot apply under this scheme as there is a separate Health insurance Scheme for police employees known as the police Arogya Bhagya scheme

There is no specific application procedure that the candidates have to follow to get the benefit of this scheme because the beneficiaries have to update their and their dependent details in the HRMS database of e-governance under DPAR.
