Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme 2023
The academically gifted students of the Andhra Pradesh state will now be able to get Rupees 20000 per annum as per the latest scheme presented by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy on 28th February 2020. The financial assistance will be paid to the students who are doing really well in their studies and the financial assistance will help them to pay their tuition fees for various courses that they are taking in the Andhra Pradesh state. Under this scheme, the Government will also cover the food and the hostel expenses that the students have to give in order to continue their education.

Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Second Installment
There are some latest updates available for the beneficiaries who have participated in this scheme and some of them are mentioned below:-
- The Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh state has recently released the second installment for the beneficiaries who have participated in this scheme.
- The Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh state, Jagan Mohan Reddy has transferred Rs. 1,048.94 crore under 10,89,302 beneficiaries.
- The third and the fourth installment for the scheme will be transferred in the month of December and February respectively to the bank account of the beneficiaries.

Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for this prestigious scheme:-
- The applicant must be a permanent and legal resident of Andhra Pradesh state
- The students must be pursuing Degree Courses (BA / BSC / BCOM), Polytechnic Diploma Course, ITI Diploma Courses, PG Courses, PhD. Course.
- The student must be studying in Government or Government Aided Private Colleges affiliated with State Universities.
- The student’s family income should be less than Rs 2.5 Lakh per Year.
- Applicants must have less than 10 acres / agricultural acre less than 25 acres of wetland
- Applicants should not own any Four- Wheelers.
- Government Employees are not eligible for this scheme.
- If anyone in the family is taking advantage of the pension scheme then you are not eligible for this plan.

Implementation Procedure
The AP Jagananna Vasathi Deevena scheme was organized by the Government of the Andhra Pradesh state on 24th February 2020 in order to provide proper educational resources to the students who are not able to continue their education due to various reasons. The scheme will be implemented in the Andhra Pradesh state to help all of the students who belong to the economically weaker section of society. Rupees 2300 crores have been sanctioned to provide the benefit of this scheme to all of the students present in the Andhra Pradesh state who are not able to continue their education due to various financial reasons. The financial assistance will be directly provided to the guardian of the students who has applied for this scheme through DBT mode. If the biological guardians are not available then the funds will be directly transferred to the bank account of the legal guardian
