The Telangana State Government has launched the Indiramma Housing Scheme 2025 to provide Permanent housing facilities to the poor and weaker section people. Under the Scheme, affordable housing will be provided to all the residents of the state who do not have their own permanent house. With the help of the Indiramma Housing Scheme, the Telangana State Government will provide financial assistance and other benefits to all the homeless citizens so that they can build their own permanent house. The Telangana State Government has allocated a total budget of Rs 22,000 crore for the implementation of the Scheme in the current financial year.
Indiramma Housing Scheme First Phase 2025
The Telangana State Government aims to cover around 5 lakh families in the First Phase of Indiramma Housing Scheme. Under the First Phase, the Government of Telangana state is all set to build a total of 4.5 lakh houses for all the homeless citizens of the state. All houses would be at least 400 sq. ft. and include an RCC roof, kitchen, and toilet in each house. The selected citizens will be given Financial Assistance of Rs. 5 lakh to build them.

Objective of the Indiramma Housing Scheme
The Main Objective of the Scheme is to improve the living standards of the poor and weaker sections in the rural areas of India. Under this Scheme, housing and other facilities are provided to the people living below the poverty line. All the residents who are financially unable to get a permanent place of residence will get monetary and land assistance from the Telangana State Government. Financial Assistance of Rs 5 lakh for the general category and Rs 6 lakh for the individuals belonging to SC or ST category will be provided.
