IGNOU Assignment 2024
The candidates need to submit and write their assignments before attending the term-end examinations which are conducted by the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The candidates are requested to first write their assignment and submit it to their Study Centre before going for the term-end examinations. Assignments have 30% weightage in the programs available at the Indira Gandhi National Open University so it is mandatory for the candidates to submit the assignments before the final examinations.

If you want to download the assignment then you will have to follow the simple procedure given below:-
- First, you will have to visit the official website of Indira Gandhi National Open University by clicking on the link given here
- The homepage of the organization will be displayed on your screen
- Now you have to click on the option called Student Support
- A drop-down menu will be displayed on your screen
- You have to click on the option called Student Zone
- A new page will be displayed on your screen.
- Now you have to click on the option called Assignments
- The assignments as per the courses will be displayed on your screen.
Guidelines For The Assignments
You must follow the following guidelines while submitting your assignments for the examination:-
- The last date to submit the IGNOU assignment for the June TEE is July 15.
- Candidates must submit their IGNOU assignment before the start of the term-end examination.
- Candidates should preserve a copy of their IGNOU assignment response for future use.
- The IGNOU assignment must be submitted before the deadline mentioned in the assignment booklet. Only those candidates who submitted their assignments can check the IGNOU assignment status.
- The process of updating the IGNOU assignment status takes time. Thus, candidates do not need to worry if their IGNOU assignment status shows ‘not found’ or ‘not submitted’ for some time. However, if the IGNOU assignment status remains like this for a long time then candidates are advised to contact the regional centre officials.
- The IGNOU Assignments are a crucial part of the evaluation. Therefore, candidates must submit their IGNOU Assignments within the given time to have a positive IGNOU Assignment Status and to avoid any problems while acquiring the degree.
- The passing marks for IGNOU assignments are 50%. Candidates have to score at least 50% so that their IGNOU assignment status in the grade card shows ‘completed’. If it displays ‘IGNOU assignment status not completed’ then it means a failure in the assignment. In such a case, candidates have to write and submit their IGNOU assignments again.

- First, you will have to Download the PDF of Your Assignment for the program that you are taking at the university.
- Now you will have to prepare the assignment accordingly.
- Make sure that you enter all of the details related to yourself into the assignment.
- You can submit your assignment through your respective Study Centre.
- The candidates can also submit the assignment through email or as mentioned by the concerned authorities of their department in any SMS or email.
- Make sure to get photocopies of your assignment before getting them to the University.
