E Grantz Scholarship 2023
Egrantz scholarship is a State Government scholarship that was presented by the Kerala Government and especially by the Kerala backward community department to help the other backward community students successfully get various educational opportunities. An online portal is also introduced by the official authorities so that the students can easily check the details regarding the scholarship and apply for this scheme without the need to be present physically anywhere in the district or the state. The main objective of the program is to provide monetary assistance to the candidates who belong to the poverty-stricken caste and categories available in the Kerala state.

Objectives Of E Grantz Scholarship
The students belonging to the scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other backward castes present in the state will be able to get monetary assistance using this E-Grantz portal which was created by the Government of Kerala. Stipends will be provided to the students belonging to the backward categories and permanent residents of the Kerala state. The students can also submit an online application for this scholarship. This scholarship has already been provided to over 3 lakh students across 3400 institutions present in Kerala state. Post Matric Scholarships are provided under this scheme.

Benefits Of E Grantz 3.0
A lot of benefits will be provided to the beneficiaries under this scholarship scheme and some of the monetary assistance available for the students are mentioned below:-
- For students belonging to SC and OEC category –
- The rate of the stipend is INR 630 for students who study in a college below 8 km from their residence.
- INR 750 to students who study in a college above 8 km from their residence.
- The students, who are pursuing professional courses and are residing on their own get INR 1500 as the stipend.
- For students belonging to the OBC category –
- INR 160 is given as the stipend to students pursuing +2 courses.
- The students pursuing PG or professional courses get up to INR 250.
- The students pursuing polytechnic courses get up to INR 150.
- Lumpsum grant, Monthly stipend (day scholars) ABLC + Pocket Money (hostellers) Reimbursement of Tuition Fee, Special fee and examination fee in full without an income limit.

As per the latest notice announced by the officials, The last Date to apply for the CA/CMS/CS OBS Post Matric Scholarship is extended till 31 October 2021

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates applying for this is scholarship must follow the following eligibility criteria:-
- The candidates pursuing post-matric courses approved by the university/board are eligible.
- Applicants admitted under merit and reservation quota
- He/She should be a domicile of Kerala
- The candidates who belong to the categories of Scheduled castes, other eligible communities, OBCs and other communities who are socially and economically backwards including forward castes.
- The candidates whose attendance is not below 75% at the end of each month
- Income Limit
- For The candidates belonging to SC and OECs, there is no income limit.
- OBC category: for +2, degree courses and PG and professional courses the income limit is Rs.100000/- ( 1 Lakh).
- Other Category: for +2, degree courses and PG and professional courses the income limit is Rs.100000/- ( 1 Lakh).
