Features Of An Aadhar Seva Kendra
The following are the features of the Aadhar Seva Kendra presented by the government at various places:-
- The ASKs have a capacity to handle up to 1000/500/250 enrolments and update requests each per day
- The ASK will be open for six days a week including weekends from 9:30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. It will be open on all 7 days of the week.
- Aadhaar Seva Kendras have comfortable air-conditioned environment having 16/8/4 enrolment counters, 80/40 seated waiting areas and electronic token system beside other amenities.
- Any resident can take online advance appointment and visit at her/his convenience.
- The ASK follow an online Appointment Management System (AMS) for residents who choose to book their appointment prior to visiting the ASK and an automated Token Management System (TMS) for the walk-in residents at the ASK.
- The last token for the day is given at 5:30 pm everyday.

Working Of An Aadhar Seva Kendra
Given below is the detailed working module for an Aadhar Seva Kendra:-
- ASKs have a token system where the resident first gets a token for their Aadhaar related work and then moves to a ‘verifier’ for document checking.
- Once the verification is completed, the resident moves to ‘cash counter’ for payment of Rs.50/-(charges for Aadhaar update, if required) and is then assigned an ‘operator counter’ from the 16 operator workstations.
- The entire token movement is visible to the resident via digital display screens for easy movement and queue management.
- A resident who has been provided a token will not have to stand in long queues.

Aadhar Enrollment Procedures
You can enroll yourself in the Aadhar Card by using different types of enrollment procedures and the three types of enrollment procedures are mentioned below:-
- Document-Based: Add one identity proof and one legitimate address proof in the form.
- Head of Family: The family head can use documentation to establish proof of relationship, to introduce family members.
- Introducer based: When a legitimate identity proof and address proof is not available, it is possible to avail the help of an introducer. It is a person appointed by the Registrar, and he/she must have a valid Aadhar number.
