The Telangana State Government has launched TSMFC Indiramma Mahila Scheme for Free Sewing Machines, the Scheme aims to promote empowerment of women by giving them a source of income. This program is open to women who have got Sewing Training and belong to Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Parsi communities. All the female citizens of Telangana State who belong to these communities are eligible to get Free Sewing machines under this Scheme.

Telangana State Minority Financial Corporation (TSMFC)
The Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation (TSMFC) has launched the Indiramma Mahila Scheme for Free Sewing Machine. Under the Scheme, the selected female citizens will be provided with Free Sewing Machines by the Telangana Government. All the female citizens of Telangana State who are between the age of 18 to 55 are eligible to avail the Benefits of this Scheme. This program will encourage women to earn money to meet their daily expenses. This Scheme will also promote Skill Development among the women of the State.

Objective of TSMFC Indiramma Mahila Scheme
The Main Objective of launching the Indiramma Mahila Scheme is to provide Sewing Machines to the female citizens of the State so that they can increase their overall income by working as a local tailor. All the female citizens of Telangana state whose annual income is less than Rs 1.5 lakh in rural areas and less than Rs 2 lakh in urban areas are eligible to avail the Indiramma Mahila Scheme. The Telangana State Government has started the Application Process from 16th to 31st December 2024. Women citizens of the State can visit the official website and Submit the Application Form to avail the Benefits of the Scheme.
Benefits of Indiramma Mahila Scheme
- Under this Scheme, selected women citizens will get Sewing Machines from the State Government.
- Women who belong to the minority community can increase their overall income by working as a local tailor with the help of a Sewing Machine.
- This Scheme will also promote Empowerment of women by giving them a means of Income.

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant female citizen must be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
- The annual income of the female citizen’s family should be less than Rs 1.5 lakh or Rs 2 lakh in urban areas.
- The applicant female citizen must be between 18 to 55 years.
- The applicant female citizen must have at least class 5 Education, Certified Sewing or Tailoring Training from an Institute affiliated to TSMFC and proof of minority community status.
