Objective of PM Awas Yojana Urban 2.0
The Main Objective of PM Awas Yojana Urban 2.0 is to provide Affordable and Permanent houses to all unstable families in urban areas. In the Second Phase of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the government will provide assistance of Rs. 250000. With the help of the assistance amount, middle-low and low income Citizens can build their own house and also be given Subsidies under the scheme. Special priority will be given to Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Minorities, Widows, Disabled Persons and other sections. Cleanliness Workers, Street Vendors, Artisans, Anganwadi Workers, and people living in slums can also avail Benefits under this Scheme.

- The applicant should not have any permanent home.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs. 3 lakh.
- The applicant must be financially unstable.
