Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Shri Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin launched the Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme for the citizens of the state on 9 August 2024. This scheme will provide financial assistance of ₹1000 every month to the students who study from class 6th to 12th in the government schools of the state. According to the Tamil Nadu State Government, around 3.28 lakh students of the state will be able to avail the benefits under this Scheme.

Objective of Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme 2024
The main aim of launching the Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme is to help the financially unstable students studying in the government school of the Tamil Nadu state. The aim of this scheme is to improve the financial condition of the economically unstable male students of the state.
