Eligibility Criteria of the Recruitment
Nationality
The applicant must be an Indian citizen or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the purpose of living permanently in India, are also eligible. Candidates of Indian heritage who have relocated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the aim of permanently residing in India are also eligible.
Educational Qualifications
A three-year diploma course in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology/Telecommunication Engineering/Instrumentation & Control Engineering from a recognized university or institute is required for the candidate. Candidates with government-recognized comparable qualifications are also eligible.
