Eligibility Criteria Under Arunachal Pradesh Voter List
The applicant must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for a new voter ID card:-
- Individuals should have attained the age of 18 years.
- All citizens of India can apply for their Voter ID card.
- NRIs who are not citizens of any other country.
- The minimum age criteria should be met on 1st January of the year in which the application is made. For instance, if you were born on 31st March 1998, you will turn 18 on 31st March 2016. So you won’t be eligible to apply in 2016 as you were not 18 years old on 1st January 2016. You will be eligible to apply for a Voter ID card only in 2017 when the electoral roll is being revised.

Documents Required For Arunachal Pradesh Voter List
The applicant must submit the following documents while applying for the voter ID card:-
- Duly filled and signed application form
- Form 6 is required for new applicants. Form EPIC-002 is required for duplicate voter ID
- Recent passport-sized photograph
- Age Proof (Any one of the following)
- Aadhar Card
- PAN Card
- Indian Passport
- Driving License
- Class 10, 8 or 5 marks sheet with date of birth
- For individuals who have not passed Class 10, the parents must make a declaration in the prescribed format given in Annexure-1. The applicant will have to be present before the ERO/BLO/AERO for verification
- Individuals who have not cleared Class 10 and do not have parents, then the concerned Municipal Corporation or Committee, or a sarpanch of the concerned Gram Panchayat must issue a certificate of his age
- Baptism Certificate
- Birth certificate issued by a recognised school or Government school at which the applicant was enrolled
- Birth certificate issued by Municipal Authorities or district office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths
- Address Proof (Any one of the following)
- Government-issued ID such as Ration Card, Driving License, Passport and so on
- Assessment Order or Income Tax Return filed
- Utility bills in the name of the applicant or immediate relative such as latest Gas Connection, Electricity, Telephone, Water Bill for the address
- The postal department’s posts are received and delivered in the applicant’s name at the given address.
