Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana Bihar is an initiative of the Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar. Under this scheme, the government has decided to provide monetary help to the senior citizens (old age people) of the state. Beneficiaries of this scheme will get a pension every month directly into their bank accounts. As per the information we have 2 Lakh senior citizens of the state who have registered themselves on this portal. Pension of April & May month has been transferred into 1.5 Lakh Beneficiaries Bank account. The government has started a portal named Social Security Pension Management Information System for online application submission. Objective of Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana
Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana Bihar is a social welfare scheme. This scheme will provide financial security to the old-age people of the state whose age is above 60 years. The major objective of the Nitish government behind launching this scheme is to provide financial help and make the senior citizens of the state self-dependent.
Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana Benefits
- This scheme is started to provide monetary help to the senior citizens of the state
- Under this scheme beneficiaries will get monthly pension. Citizen of age group 60 to 79 years will get Rs. 400/- and 80 & above will get Rs. 500/- per month.
- This scheme will make senior citizens self dependent

- Applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar State
- Applicants should have a valid Aadhaar card
- Minimum age limit to apply for the scheme is 60 years
- Bank account of the applicant is must linked with Aadhaar card.

Procedure to Apply for Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana 2023
- Check your eligibility first and then go to the official website of the Social Security Pension Management Information System, Department of Social Welfare, Government of Bihar
- From home page of the portal, you should hit the “Register for MVPY” option available in the menu bar.
- Application form appears on the screen where you have to mention all the information
- Start filling the application with the asked details like
- District As Per Aadhaar
- Block
- EPIC No. (Voters Number)
- Name As Per EPIC
- Aadhaar No. (base number)
- Name As Per Aadhar
- Date Of Birth As Per Aadhar
- Choose verify aadhaar option and then choose proceed option
- Next phase of the form will appear on screen, enter the details in the application form as asked
- Upload the required documents as listed above or as shown on the screen
- Tick the check box after reading the declaration and click “submit application details” option
- Preview application will appear on the screen, look over all the details you entered and if required any edit click “edit application” option
- Make changes and review the information once again
- If no change is required then choose “Final submit” button
- Give print command to take print out of your acknowledgement or by click direct print receipt option.

- From home page of the portal, you should hit the “Register for MVPY” option available in the menu bar
- Now choose Download Aadhaar Consent form option from menu bar or click here
- Form will appear on the screen, click download link and give print command to take print out
