No Objection Certificate (NOC) is an Official Document, which is required in both government and non-government work. It is used for example, if a person wants to sell a property, he has to take a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned department to ensure that there is no legal dispute on that property. It is issued by an organization, institution or individual to say that they have no objection to the details mentioned in the document. Apart from this, NOC is also used for buying and selling a vehicle, changing jobs, travelling abroad, or doing business. This Government Document helps to avoid unnecessary Legal Problems. NOC is obtained through an official request but sometimes the process of obtaining NOC varies in some cases.

When is a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued?
NOC is usually issued as a Legal Document by an employer, employee, landlord, tenant or individual. It is used to override any party’s objection for employment, business, litigation, immigration and many other purposes. For example, if a person rents a building to operate his business, the person must obtain an NOC from the building owner stating that the owner has no objection to the person operating his business in the building. After obtaining the NOC from the building owner, the person can use the rented building as his official address.
Or NOC is used when a person wants to transfer a vehicle registered in another state, such as Delhi, for use in another state, such as Uttar Pradesh. The vehicle seller has to obtain an NOC from the Delhi Regional Transport Officer (RTO) and issue it to the vehicle buyer in Uttar Pradesh. This type of NOC states that there are no previous traffic offences in Delhi against the said vehicle. It also states whether there is a mortgage against the vehicle in Delhi or not. The buyer of the vehicle has to show this document while re-registering the vehicle in Uttar Pradesh.
