About Assam Lakhpati Baideo Scheme 2025
Lakhpati Baideo Scheme has been launched by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma for women entrepreneurs of the state. Under this scheme, the government will provide a loan of Rs 35,000 over three years to eligible women to start self-employment. Which will be transferred directly to the bank account of the selected women. About 4 million women of self-help groups (SHGs) will benefit through this scheme. All the women who are unable to start their own business due to financial constraints will benefit from this scheme. The government will deposit this amount in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in three years. This will provide self-employment opportunities to women and they will be able to strengthen the financial condition of their families.

Financial Assistance under Assam Lakhpati Baideo Scheme
- Under the Assam Lakhpati Baideo Scheme, women will be given cash assistance of Rs 35,000 by the government.
- The main objective of this scheme is to make it possible for Self Help Groups (SHGs) to operate rural micro businesses.
