Jharkhand Government Health Insurance Scheme 2025 has been launched by the Health and Family Welfare Department of Jharkhand State. This Government Health Insurance Scheme aims to provide quality and affordable health services to all the government employees and pensioners of the State. Jharkhand Chief Minister Mr Hemant Suren recently announced the launch of the scheme on Friday 28th February 2025. To avail the Benefits under the Health Insurance Scheme, Government employees have to pay a monthly fee of Rs 500. Purpose of Jharkhand Government Health Insurance Scheme
The main Purpose of launching Jharkhand Government Health Insurance Scheme is to provide quality and affordable health services to the government employees of Jharkhand state. Jharkhand State Government will provide cashless treatment of Rs 5 lakh for general disease and Rs 10 lakh for any serious disease in government hospitals. To avail the benefit of cashless treatment under this Health Insurance Scheme, pensioners will have to pay an annual fee of Rs 6000. Also free medicines will be provided by the government in government hospitals.
