Eligibility Criteria of the Recruitment
The eligibility criteria for the Income Tax Recruitment 2023 are as follows:
- The age limit for the Assistant Commissioner position is 35 years, for Income Tax Officer it is 30 years, and for Tax Assistant, it is 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the government rules.
- The educational qualification required for the Assistant Commissioner position is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. For the Income Tax Officer and Tax Assistant positions, a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university is required.
- For the Assistant Commissioner position, a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Income Tax is required. For the Income Tax Officer position, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Income Tax is required.
- Written Examination: The first stage of the selection process is a written examination. The examination will consist of objective-type questions related to General Knowledge, English Language, Mathematics, and Reasoning.
